So the Christmas celebrations have come and the new year is fast approaching. But what shall we say then; is the celebration of Christ Jesus over so soon or are we so caught up in drawing up new plans for 2017 that we loose sight of the master? The one who is to help us fulfill our dreams goals and desires, shouldn’t be the one relegated so quickly to the back seat. Titus2:11 reveals that the grace of Christ that brings salvation has appeared to all men; but not all men receive Him. The yearly celebration of Christ during Christmas is not suppose to be a one off thing we do every year rather it is supposed to shine a light on Christ so in our hearts that would embolden him before our faces all through the coming year. Christmas is suppose to lay emphasis on the grace of Christ in our lives. Stimulating us to count our blessings of His love, mercy and grace since He appeared to us and positioning us to receive more of the blessedness of salvation by Christ Jesus.
Grace is not a one off thing nor experience in Christ, rather it is an endowment we continue to grow in. Have you ever had a gift that continues to get bigger, the more you use it; just like your phone, once you have an android phone with Google play on it (signifying Grace) you are at liberty to download as many apps as you desire and many more as at when needed. The only limiting factor to your download would be the storage capacity on your phone and that is the reason the Spirit speaking through Paul in Ephesians 4:20 was saying “Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above that which you could ever ask nor think according TO THE POWER THAT WORKS IN YOU” meaning your download from and by the grace of Christ is according to your capacity to receive. With God through Christ Jesus, the access is unlimited, the free gifts are unending but the question is how much are you willing to receive and what is your capacity to receive them
