Grace is the master gardener, He draws you in by His love, showers you with His kindness, empowers you, feeds and nourishes you with His truth and goodness till you become the reality He saw within Himself. He condemns no seed, casts away no seed, sees potential in every seed and gives every seed all that it takes to grow and become greater Mark4:30-32. He works on the seed to become greater till the seed blossoms fully into becoming the manifestation of every potential it has in itself. Though He never gives up on any seed, the saddening fact is that many seeds become impatient concerning following after Grace. Many seeds see nothing good in themselves, so they give-up, refuse to die and by extention, cannot become greater John12:24.Thus many seeds refuse to trust the master Gardener John15, Isa.12:2 & Psa62:8 therefore they waste away, despite the abounding potential, grace and help of God has made available to them.
Trusting Jesus and yielding to grace is not an option in the Christian walk. The lack of this truth is the reason, why we have many carnal Christians who despite there encounters at new birth, still live there life’s as though they’ve never met with Jesus. They are still subject to sin and their old nature. I have news for this category of people, ‘Grace is not a licence to sin, thus if you claim to be born again and are still sinning, get under grace, yield to grace and you will sin no more’. Grace resists sin and triumphs over sin. Thus a true follower of Grace is free from sin and sinning. Carnality has no place in Grace and all forms of evil works and sins has no place in Grace because Grace believes in and lives by the finished works of Jesus, which we know amongst all other things is freedom from sin Rom.8:2.
Yielding to Grace is yielding to Christ Jesus and His ways of living and triumphing in life. The ways of Jesus is different from the known ways of men and this world and it is seperate from the ways of the old law. John1:14 says the law came by Moses but Grace and truth came by Jesus. Jesus is the high priest and testator of the New covenant of Grace as He is the High priest of the law of Faith and Love. Thus when you yield to Grace, you are yielding to Jesus and when you are yielding to Jesus, you are yielding to the Holy Spirit because He said ‘when I go, I would send you the comforter John15:26 who will lead you into all truths and he would not speak of Himself, but whatsoever I say He shall take of mine and show it into you’ John16:13-15. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Grace Heb10:29. He is the representative of Grace on the earth, thus He is our first alliance as we journey through the realms of Grace. The more you yield to the Holy Spirit, the more you would find yourself yielding and listening to Jesus because he helps our infirmities (not just in prayer but in our study and our everyday life and living) and keeps bringing us yielded unto Christ. But it all begins with our yieldedness.
How willing are we to be led of the Lord, how willing are we to follow His directions for our life’s. How ready are we to let go of self and allow the Spirit of God direct us, lead us and train us, all through our life’s journey. We have being made free from our previous husband (law and sin) but we have not being made free or divorced from our previous husband (law and sin) so that we can stay single, rather we have being made free from law and sin so that we can marry another, who is Christ Jesus (Grace) and righteousness Rom.7:1-4. Therefore we have being made free from the law of sin and death so that we can serve in the newness of Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter Rom.7:6. The more yielded we become to Grace, the more we encounter the realities of Grace in our life’s and the higher we would fly on the wings of Grace because Grace would be free to bring us to certain height we could never have imagined by ourselves Eph.4:20.
