Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ thereby making Him the only true way and life, for He alone is truth personified. Truth, being an expression of Grace, validates Grace all the time.
Joel, expounds on this era of Grace, validating this effectively by 1st identifying the position of the New Testament believer, who he describes as a Grace believer. You could spend time studying Joel 2 and you would discover that Joel had a revelation of the New Testament believer. Joel 2:2 says “A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be anymore after it, even to the year’s of many generations.” This day of the Lord which Joel spoke of by revelation, was not talking about rapture (you would see this, if you read the whole chapter of Joel 2); rather He was talking about the coming of Jesus Christ and all that would happen during His lifetime, His death and After His death, up until the rapture of the church.
Joel by revelation declared that a great people shall be birth by the coming and death of Jesus. Remember that after the death of Jesus which brought darkness over the land Mark 15:33 and After His resurrection Acts2, His disciples received the Spirit in the upper room and were turned into bold formidable forces that no man nor god could resist. This was what Joel was talking about: the era of Grace. Joel said there has not being anyone like (this Grace people) refering to the old testament saints; Neither shall there be anymore after it (them) refering to the post rapture believer(who would receive Christ after the rapture of the Church).
So we see, that by this revelation, which stands as a confirmation of the truth, the New Testament believer is unique in her place. We are the greatest of ‘All’ believers, from the old testament to the New Testament; from the B.C. Believers to the Post rapture believers.
We are the ones Jesus shed His blood for. The only issue is many of us Never accepted the fullness of Him. We receive Him in part and limit the result of His presence in our life’s and we wonder why we don’t see miracles like in the great bible days. But it doesn’t matter who you are or what you do, if you can accept Him in fullness, not just as a saviour, but as the Lord over your life and everything in between, He will never reject you, because He never rejects anyone, rather He receives you and transforms you into the same image as He, because He is into the moulding business.
Grace (Jesus Christ) specialises in taking the the wretched, the ungodly the abused, the downtrodden, the sinful person, the drug dealer, the womanizer, the atheist, the raw clay and transforms them into beautiful vessels of gold and silver. Making their life’s a tapestry of beauty and honour as a sign and wonder to their world.
You cannot truly meet with Jesus and remain the same, if it is so, then it is an anomaly because He transforms you into a pure vessel of gold. Grace receives you any way you are, but ‘never’ leaves you the same way you came. Rather, He transforms you into the image of Himself, giving you beauty for ashes.
Many religions of the world belief in God, but you will also notice that they all refuse to accept Jesus. The bone of contention is always with Jesus Christ and that should reveal a truth to us that the devil specialises in blackmailing the truth. Notice that the devil never tempted Eve with the tree of life though it was I the garden, rather the temptation was centered round the tree of the knowledge of good and of evil, for the sole purpose to get Adam and Eve to go against the truth of God’s word by accepting His lie. In the same vein, Jesus is the only way, the truth and life and that is the reason why doubt is rising up in the heart of people, because there is a truth they are finding hard to believe, but that truth prevails that Jesus and His Grace belongs to this era and we belong to Him, it is now our choice to believe and boldly declare it for others to hear.
