…Stunned, the man struggled beneath the to see who it was, that wouldn’t help him and just then his lifeline said to him, “if you will stop the struggle and trust me, then I will help you” just then another blast of stormy wave came rolling in and this time, much stronger.
The Man sunk deep; his lifeline followed; bubbles came floating up; but soon enough they were both at the river bank. Then said the man to his lifeline after he was fully resuscitated “how were you able to save me?” and the life guard replied “because I live here”.
A drowning man can never be rescued while struggling,he must first let go, to receive help of a guardian, this is a truth we all know, but the question is “why do we think differently of God”, severally He said, “Be Still and know that I am God” by this he rescued the isrealites through the red sea, He set the fear of isreal in the hearts of all their enemies, He fed 3000 person’s in the desert, He calmed the raging storm and did many more mighty works . So how then is it that your little house rent or health challenge is too big for Him to handle? Nothing is too big for God, the problem is that we make it big in our eyes. I place no care on what you have being fighting against or what you have had to deal with but this one thing I know that everything to the creator is a grain of sand and a mountain before Him is made plain because in Him all fullness dwells and Jesus who lived here, won the victory and lived triumphantly, so why shouldn’t we?
Often times we are just like Peter, toiling all night and getting nothing. But we always forget that at His word we are to let go of everything if we are to have a net breaking catch in life.
The issue is that many of us find it difficult to see God as faithful nor that He can be faithful to us. We think He wants us to hurt and struggle but that is another religious lie because He said “He came that we should have life and have it much more abundantly” Dont have a hard time trusting in God, but if you could believe that He is faithful, and is a rewarder of them that do dilligently seek Him (with Faith and sincerity of heart in a genuine thirst) trusting in His Faithfulness and risking yourself on His Faithfulness, then you would see the outpouring of His Grace in your life, causing you to achieve fits that is unknown to man and beyond man’s wildest imagination. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all of your ways acknowkedge Him and He will direct your path Proverbs3:5-6 & Jeremiah17:7-8
So stop the Hustle and live in TRUE spirituality that gives room to the reality of the identity of Christ to be seen in you. Until we learn to trust in His faithfulness we would have no capacity to receive His very best.
